To practice correctly, and to get the most out of yoga, you need to understand not just the physical poses but how the mind and body work together. Jacquie explains that in a calm, clear and encouraging way. Every one-on-one session is different, and each one is tailored to what your particular wish or physical need -- or impediment -- might be on a particular day. That's different from class work. When I began with Jacquie two years ago, I figured I might stick with it for a month, maybe once a week. I now practice 45 minutes a day five days a week and have every week for the past three years.
